Australia’s Impressionists

I went to the National Gallery in London to see exhibition of Australia’s Impressionists with my friend Ale. We love Impressionists. We both love Art. We met in an watercolour class in 2010. Since then we meet up for exhibitions in London. It is always lovely to meet her and talk about art or life.

The exhibition was very small but made me satisfied. I don’t know much about history in Australia in 19th century but I can imagine how the land was vast and full of sunshine! I love the colours on canvas and the feeling of the movement. It was nice to see them as collective paintings. If it were exhibited as “Impressionists”, meaning paintings from whole countries, I wouldn’t see in the same way.

Many artists  immigrated.  “Defining an identity” is something in common to me.
